| Copper Wire Wrapped Healing Stones |
| One of my favorite places to search for stones, is fabulous for providing me with special little agate nuggets of different shapes and sizes. Many have beautiful texture and color-and glow from within. If I tumbled them, they would be whittled down to nothing, and lose their character. Others qualify for tumbling, and just beg to shine... so I give them their light, and enhance their reflection... All are copper wrapped... the upper in newly exposed copper wire (bright), and the lower has had a patina started by a chemical process. Copper is pretty and bright at first, but as you wear it, it develops a much more luscious finish-dark rich orange, with chocolate brown.... The more you wear the pendant, the better the patina (like the picture of the copper platter to the left). |
